  • This route starts in the heart of Fitzrovia, at gallery rosenfeld exhibiting works by Girjesh Kumar Singh. His moving sculptures are made from broken bricks scavenged from destroyed homes in the area he resides in.

Then a quick walk to see Jane Dickson’s solo at Alison Jacques. This show is Dickinson’s first exhibition in London in more than 20 years, with iconic nocturnal paintings of New York City. Around the corner, we stop to get lost in Sabine Moritz’s striking abstract canvases at Pilar Corrias (this show continues at Pilar Corrias’ second space on Savile Row). Next door, it’s Pipeline, participating in London Gallery Weekend for the first time with a show by William Waterworth.

On Mortimer St, Maximillian William exhibits precisely fifty photographs by Coco Capitan, a series paying tribute to an imagined nautical universe.

Then, we head to Josh Lilley with prints, paintings and previously unseen drawings by Patrick Caulfield, before finishing out tour at TJ Boulting, where Maisie Cousin’s new body of work evokes a sense of distorted nostalgia and imagination.
