Maureen Paley is pleased to announce a new exhibition by artist Avis Newman. This will be her second exhibition with the gallery and her first exhibition at Maureen Paley, 60 Three Colts Lane. Avis Newman combines canvas, objects, and drawing within her diverse works. Rooted in the conceptual space of drawing, she is inspired by the fundamental ideas of 'origin', embodied in the moment of initial tracing and the genesis of the mark.
