Reverend Joyce McDonald

Maureen Paley is pleased to announce a new exhibition by the Reverend Joyce McDonald. This will be her first solo exhibition with the gallery presented at Maureen Paley: Studio M, London. McDonald began creating art in the 1970s after experiencing a spiritual awakening that led her to become a minister. In her tender sculptural works, she enshrines her own personal narratives and wider cultural experiences of family, love, loss, illness, healing, transformation, and transcendence.
