Explore on your way, the best of London is as much in the back streets as the main drag, if not more. I've focused on the breadth of what London has to offer in this tour, as much as the shows opening in this moment allow.

    Central 

    Start in Kensington for Gallery 1957 and a solo of Godfried Donkor  'Battle Royale - Part II'. Then a 30 minute walk up through Hyde Park north to Lisson Gallery - Bell St who are showing a group show  'Matter as Actor' including Allora & Calzadilla, Dana Awartani, Revital Cohen & Tuur Van Balen, D Harding, Irmel Kamp, Syowia Kyambi, Richard Long, Otobong Nkanga, Yelena Popova, Lucy Raven, Zhan Wang, Feifei Zhou

     

    We’re then down in Mayfair for Goodman Gallery’s group show of works by Ghada Amer, Elisabet Cervino, Vibha Galhorta, Nicholas Hlobo, Kapwani Kiwanga, Laura Lima, Tabita Rezaire, Naama Tsabar, Johanna Unzueta.

     

    East 

    Jump in a car or public transport east to Victoria Miro with Isaac Julien 'Once Again… (Statues Never Die)' and then again to Maureen Paley: Studio M who are showing Reverend Joyce McDonald, then its a short walk down Columbia Road to Sherbet Green for  ‘JUPITER WALK’ including  Lulu Bennett, Steph Huang, Jean François Krebs, Madeleine Pledge and Anna Woodward. 

     

    South

    Finally, make the journey to Kennington and Corvi-Mora for Che Lovelace - 'Day Always Comes' and greengrassi’s show in the same building: Moyra Davey - 'Horse Opera'.

     

    And to finish: my solo exhibition at Copperfield… 'And I saw a new heaven'.
