Join Edel Assanti for an exhibition tour with artist Simon Lehner and Shoair Mavlian, Director of The Photographers’ Gallery, in celebration of Lehner's first UK solo exhibition, 'Of Peasants & Basterds'.
Working across sculpture, painting, film, and installation, Lehner’s practice explores the psychological ramifications of contemporary digital culture. Drawing from personal archives and publicly sourced online imagery, he constructs avatars that inhabit layered narratives, addressing themes such as trauma, family dynamics, and the impact of technology on the human psyche.
