Goodman Gallery: Studio Visit with Winston Branch
Join Goodman Gallery, in collaboration with Varvara Roza Galleries and Cedric Bardawil, for a studio visit with artist Winston Branch at London W10 (full address will be shared upon booking).
For the past six decades, Branch (b. 1947, Saint Lucia) has continually redefined abstraction by focussing on the capacity of pigment to construct the ephemeral effects of light and space. "The works I have been making over the last many years are questioning what we see and how the mind responds to it", says Branch, "Therefore, it is about feeling through the senses. For me, colour is light and light is feeling".
There will be an in-conversation with writer and critic, Jean-Baptiste Oduor and attendees will offered refreshments.
