3812 Gallery London presents Qian Wu's 'Black and Blue', the artist’s first solo exhibition of paintings in London, a blend of Eastern and Western influences. From 2011 to 2016, he studied at the Art Students League of New York. He completed the first advanced research class on abstract art at Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2020, and he served as a visiting scholar at the China National Academy of Painting from 2021 to 2022.

Qian Wu earned a spot in Forbes China's "Top 30 Under 30" in 2021 and has been included in the Forbes China Global 100 Outstanding Chinese list in 2022. In 2020 he was first recognised by Robb Report as the "Artist of the Year", followed by "Top Ten Outstanding Chinese American Youth Award." In 2023 Qian Wu became the sole Chinese laureate of an international award at the prestigious 17th Arte Laguna Prize in Italy.
