The Shape of Summer

JD Malat Gallery is pleased to present The Shape of Summer, a group exhibition bringing together a selection of artists represented by the gallery over the years. On view in the gallery’s Mayfair space until 30 June 2026, the exhibition celebrates the diversity of artistic practices that continue to shape the gallery’s international programme.

The exhibition features works by Santiago Parra, Luis Olaso, Lucia Mosca, Conrad Jon Godly, Phoebe Leech, Ur Kasim, Kojo Marfo, Andy Moses, Ed Moses, Marcel Rusu, Hande Sekerciler, and Henrik Uldalen.

Spanning abstraction, figuration, landscape, and conceptual approaches, The Shape of Summer explores the emotional and visual atmosphere of the season through a wide range of artistic perspectives. The exhibition moves between moments of stillness and intensity, light and shadow, intimacy and monumentality, offering a dialogue between artists whose practices are deeply rooted in materiality, gesture, and emotion.

From the meditative mountain landscapes of Conrad Jon Godly to the expressive abstraction of Santiago Parra and the vibrant figurative language of Kojo Marfo, the exhibition reflects the dynamic nature of contemporary art today. Through painting, sculpture, and mixed media works, The Shape of Summer invites visitors into a layered and immersive visual experience.
