Cecilia Brunson Projects

Cecilia Brunson Projects was founded in 2013 as the first UK gallery dedicated to increasing the visibility of Latin American artists and their role in global art movements. Since then, CBP has become the home of a burgeoning Latin American art scene in London and has built a reputation internationally for uncovering historically marginalised or overlooked artists.

CBP has introduced European audiences to some of the major figures of modern and contemporary art, including Latin American modernist masters Alfredo Volpi, Willys de Castro and Judith Lauand and contemporary stars such as Sheroanawe Hakihiiwe, Patricia Domínguez and Claudia Alarcón & Silät. The gallery has also uncovered the careers of pivotal 20th century artists, such as Feliciano Centurión, Victor Magariños D. and Katie van Scherpenberg, reinserting key figures back into the global narrative of 20th century art.
