Niru Ratnam

The gallery opened in 2020 with a particular interest in artists from underrepresented backgrounds or whose work challenges traditional narratives within the artworld. The program builds on Ratnam’s earlier career as a writer whose work focused on the politics of representation. The gallery brings together artists from different points in their career who share a conceptual or thematic outlook and exhibits a range of practice that encompasses installation, video and sculpture as well as painting.
