Lévy Gorvy Dayan presents Thomas Houseago:Death’s Sacred Mirror, placing new works by the contemporary sculptor in dialogue with his most formative influences, ranging from ancient Egyptian and Greek objects to modern masterpieces by Joseph Beuys, Louise Bourgeois, and Marisa Merz, among others. Curated by Houseago, the exhibition is conceived in the spirit of a traditional cabinet of curiosities, connecting artefacts and artworks through the artist's unique perspective. The display reveals Houseago's ongoing engagement with timeless forms and concepts, culminating in the debut of a new edition of the sculpture Crystal No. 1 (2025), a defining statement of his current practice.
