We begin our itinerary with an exhibition of tufted textile sculptures by Ukranian-Israeli artist Anna Perach at Richard Saltoun Gallery.
Upstairs, we pop into Galerie Max Hetzler where we escape to Southern California through the paintings and works on paper by Jake Longstreth.
A few steps on Dover Street, we encounter Lévy Gorvy Dayan to explore two generations of British painters through their portrayals of women, including works by Frank Auerbach, Lucian Freud, David Hockney, and Paula Rego among others, alongside contemporary names such as Jenny Saville, Alison Watt, and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.
At the end of the road, we catch new and recent works by Gala Porras-Kim’s drawings, paper marbling works and sculptures at Sprüth Magers.
We then head to MASSIMODECARLO for a solo show of Yan Pei-Ming, known for his expressive and monumental portraits of historical figures like Mao Zedong, the Buddha, the Pope, and Bruce Lee.
The tour ends by Cork Street, lined by LGW galleries presenting new shows that we suggest you discover at your own pace.
Mayfair has a dense population of art galleries, and while our tour won't cover them all, we strongly encourage visitors to explore additional spaces in the neighbourhood using our map.
