“The image is everything and is celebrated by MMX Gallery with conviction and believe that what is seen is to be treasured.”
MMX Gallery was founded in a former photography studio in London in 2014 by Mark and Magdalena Shackleton. The gallery uses photography as a catalyst to exhibit new and established photographers and photographic artists. Their exhibitions have been widely featured including the Guardian, Financial Times, the British Journal of Photography, Black and White Photography Magazine, L'oeil de la Photography. JASPER GOODALL: TWILIGHT’S PATH

    04 June - 17 July 2021
For the inaugural edition of London Gallery Weekend, MMX Gallery will show a solo show by Jasper Goodall, an exhibition of evocative nocturnal landscapes taken after nightfall in the forests, and on the moors of the British Isles. Goodall's nocturnal series Twilight's Path has been described as being at once beautiful and terrifying. The images reference notions of the Sublime in Romanticism; the idea that a kind of thrill of delight can be gleaned from viewing something terrifying. His images are an attempt to capture the stillness, the sense of hushed, waiting presence that is palpably felt between the dark boughs.
